Goslar is one of the really nice place to visit many time, but I had also like to mention one place called “Quedlinburg”, which to my mind is equally as charming.And it is also now the northern terminus for the Selketalbahn, part of the HSB (Harzer Schmalspurbahnen), with steam trains running most days during the Summer, and a few during the Winter.
